What is a Block of the Month?

A block of the month is a subscription, where over the course of multiple months you will receive the supplies to complete a quilt top. In this particular block of the month, you will receive your entire kit with all of the fabric (in a cute custom box!) up front. Then, every month you will receive the pattern and applique templates to complete one block at a time. It is 7 months long and the final quilt is 68"x68"

Since you'll be receiving all of your fabric up front, the registration price is higher than normal and the rest of the cost is split into 7 monthly subscription payments.

What pattern & fabric are we using?

We will be using Bunny Hill Design's "Sugarberry" fabric and "Sugarberry Christmas" pattern. See image.

How will I get my kit each month?

Shipping is included in the subscription price.

What skill level is this quilt?

This is an applique quilt, so you must have some basic understanding of applique.

What is included with my kit?

Your kit includes all the fabric you need to complete the top of the quilt, as well as the binding. You will receive your instructions and applique pattern for each block on a monthly basis. If you wish to use a fusible, such as heat-n-bond, for your applique technique, that is sold separately. The reason for this is that some people choose an applique technique that does not involve a fusible interfacing. If you wish to use the heat-n-bond method we suggest you get about 5 yards.

What about backing fabric?

For your quilt backing we have provided backing kits in 3 different colors for you to reserve. They are 4.25 yards, $55, and you will need to reseve them by March 15th. They are called "Sugarberry BOM Backing kit" and you can find them here- https://www.justsewstudio.com/shop/Subscriptions.htm

Registration fee is non-refundable.
