Teen Sewing 101



Create a cute patchwork pillow for your room while learning all the sewing basics! You’ll learn basic sewing terminology, cutting fabric, how to use your sewing machine, pinning and sewing fabric, creating a seam allowance, ironing and piecing squares to kick start your quilting interests!


6th grade and up.


If needed, you can drop off your machine at the shop the week before class or earlier in the day on Monday.


MATERIALS LIST:
Sewing machine
Thread
Fat Quarter of fabric
Pillow Stuffing

(5"x5" squares for the front will be provided. If you want a specific color scheme you will have to provide your own.)


Skill Level: Novice
